The now famous McDonald's Falling Roach |
Tampa, Florida
Thank God I do not eat at McDonald's. But, for those of you that do, might I suggest you take an umbrella with you on your next visit.
Recently, a family stopped in at the McDonald's on Martin Luther King Boulevard right off I-275 for a bite to eat. That visit prompted a complaint to be filed with the state, after the family reported a live roach fell out of the ceiling and into their chicken nuggets. The complaint prompted a state inspection and more problems for McDonald's.
The McDonalds must have realized the impact of having a live roach reaching for your nuggets too, because they even attempted to deny access to the kitchen by the state inspector.
The inspector and his supervisors recommended an administrative complaint, and someone was eventually allowed access into the kitchen.
He documented 21 violations, including seven considered critical. Violations included dead roaches under the service counter, live roaches near the kitchen sink and grease and food accumulations.
So, who’s up for some chicken nuggets?
