Well, if you are Chicago police officer Nelson Stewart, you make an indecent proposal and offer to exchange an early release for a good penis-puffing. That’s exactly what happened, according to authorities, when a male prostitute was arrested after flagging down an undercover detective and offering a $20 blow job.
While that particular detective wasn’t interested in a knob-polishing, apparently back at the station, Chicago police officer Nelson Stewart was ready to rise to the occasion.
Stewart told the inmate that if he did him a “favor” he could be released later that day, Assistant State’s Attorney Lynn McCarthy said. Stewart told the victim he controlled the paperwork at the district, according to a police report.
Stewart performed oral sex on the man and the man performed oral sex on him, prosecutors said.
Looks like the victim decided to kiss and tell, reporting the incident to a Harrison District watch commander. The commander contacted the police Internal Affairs Bureau, an investigation began and the victim identified Stewart in a lineup.
Biological samples submitted to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab matched Stewart’s and the victim’s DNA, authorities said.
When he is not sucking golf balls through garden hoses, Nelson Stewart is a divorced father of two college-aged children, ages 19 and 21.
If convicted, Stewart could face up to seven years in prison.
Stewart was among four officers accused in a federal lawsuit of breaking a prisoner’s jaw and rib in the same lockup in 2006. The city settled with the alleged victim for $72,500.
