Just yesterday, we posted a story on Amanda Feenstra, a high school dance instructor in Texas, who is accused of a sexual relationship with one of her students. And what do you know, before the ink dried, there has been another.
This time, it is a Santa Fe High School teacher facing three felony charges following allegations that she sexually assaulted a teenage student.
Jaimie Dominy Page, 25, was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual abuse of a child, having an improper relationship between an educator and a student, and online solicitation of a minor.
After being booked into the Galveston County Jail, the bonds came to a total of $50,000, according to authorities. She posted bond and was back home by Thursday night.
Adam Poole, an assistant district attorney with the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office, said all three charges relate to Page’s relationship with a male student.
Police say that Page sent an explicit photograph to the student, who is not being identified because of his age, and had a sexual relationship with him.
Poole said there was an investigation into whether other students had been involved. Page has been on administrative leave by the school district since February.
According to jail records, Page was arrested at 2:10 p.m. during a traffic stop on FM 646 near the intersection with I-45.
