New Florida Dad Colton Ellis Thought He Was Meeting a Child for Sex: You Can Guess the Rest

You know, there are douchebags and then, there are total douchebags. According to police, Colton Ellis would fall into the last category. And here’s why.

The 20-year-old man from Port Orange, who is a new dad, found himself caught-up in a sex sting operation. Funny thing is he told a friend he thought it might be a trap.

But, he allowed the little head do the thinking for the big head, which brings us to this story.

While online, Ellis thought he was arranging to meet a child for sex. And, as anyone with half a brain knows, online surfing in Florida usually leads to an undercover sting.

Once the two had the meeting place set-up, Ellis arrived on the scene all hot and bothered. Instead of finding the child, however, he was greeted by undercover police.

He faces charges of using a computer to seduce, solicit or lure a child, traveling to meet a child following the use of a computer to lure a child and use of a two-way communication device.

Ellis told police that he has a 6-week-old baby. He also admitted to having marijuana in his car, according to investigators.
