A Ontelaunee Township parolee was charged with possession of child pornography and sexual abuse of children after a search of his cell phone revealed 17 videos.
The disturbing videos depicted children in sexual acts, many as young as 5-years-old, authorities said.
Brian Boyer, 42, had been arrested for violating his parole when detectives found the kiddie porn with his preferred age group of five to eight year old children.
Boyer, 42, of Ontelaunee Twp., Berks Co., was charged with sexual abuse of children and child pornography.
He remains behind bars in the Frackville Prison, where he's been held since his arrest on the parole violation in March.
Before his arrest, Boyer had this to say on his Myspace profile:
"I have run around most of my life. I guess I was looking for shit that can't be found, and apparently the way I had been going about it was slightly illegal. That has changed, I have changed. So if anyone remembers me get in touch."
