It was just another typical night on the couch in Florida, according to William McClelland, when his friend Christopher Lee Roberts walked in. However, Roberts wasn’t there to hang out with a friend. In fact, he had arrived, sword in hand, announcing that he had come to kill McClelland.
At some point, which is still left to speculation, Roberts either changed his mind about killing his friend, or something spooked him. At any rate, he ran out of the house.
All of the sword-wielding must have indeed “severed” the friendship, because McClelland contacted police who arrested Roberts a short time later. He’s been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
Authorities are not certain about what provoked the incident. Here’s my guess. It’s Florida and a couple of Floridians. Do we really need any further explanation?
It is worth noting, on Facebook, that Chris Roberts has “not getting arrested” as one of his interests.

This is Chris Roberts speaking, and for the record I did not arrive anywhere "sword in hand" the residence was in fact MY family home and MR. McClelland was merely a house guest of my fathers due to his being homeless at the time, we out of the kindness of our hearts allowed him to come and stay at our house for free instead of having to stay at a homeless shelter or live under a bridge somewhere. This kindness was repaid by him getting drunk and making repeated threats on my life That night. All I did was stand my ground in my own home, so how about you guys get your shit straight before someone sues you for libel, douchebags.
