One might be inclined to feel sorry for poor, little Carrie Louise Kelly. Of course, those feelings change when you learn how she filled the void in her social life.
Police arrested Kelly on Thursday, after the 31-year-old woman allegedly had possession of and shared child pornography, and possibly even produced some of it herself.
According to Richwood police, they began their investigation after Kelly sent over 100 sexually explicit images of underage children to an interested party online. What Kelly didn’t realize, is the interested party was actually an undercover detective in Palm Beach, Florida who specializes in child pornography cases.
Investigators say the images depicted pre-school to teenage children undressing and performing sexual acts. Some of the pictures appeared to be sent from other people while others seemed to have been taken by Kelly herself.
Police searched Kelly's residence and confiscated her DVDs, computer, camera, and pictures. During questioning by authorities, Kelly stated that some of the pictures were of her as a child and others she could not recall their origin. It is not believed that she has any children of her own. She was previously employed at a tattoo parlor, Body Expressions, in Clute.
Kelly was booked into the Brazoria County Jail and charged with felony possession of child pornography. She remains jailed in lieu of a $125,000 bond.
