Last year, a real-life Weekend At Bernie’s story unfolded, involving Mark Rubinson, Robert Young and a corpse.
In a quick, nutshell re-cap, Jeff Jarrett was dead. On August 27, Robert Young arrived at Jarrett’s place and discovered the dead man. Now, most of us would have called authorities. However, Robert Young had a better idea. He teamed-up with his buddy, Mark Rubinson, loaded Jarrett’s corpse in the car (along with his credit cards) and decided to have a night out. The unusual threesome visited restaurants and strip clubs (compliments of the dead man’s credit cards).
Rubinson and Young have now pleaded guilty for the incident and are expected to receive probation.
There were a few positive perks following the story, at least for dead guys and gals. Shotgun Willie's now offers no cover for corpses after 7 p.m.
