Without knowing anything about the story below, one look at Daphne Spurlock’s Facebook page raises all sorts of red flags.

Father God (JESUS) please bless each and every person that wished your daughter a Happy Birthday today! May you Father give them the desires of their heart and shower them with Blessing from heaven. Father keep them close to you always and protect them. Father may they come to know you like I know you in a close and intimate way. My prayer Father is for my friend to know you as their Father too!
And Father please continue to let Facebook be a place that we can Fellowship and Worship your Mighty Name! Amen

Even her friends seem to be a little off-centered. One of their replies:

After all of the religious throat-clearing was out of the way, Daphne Spurlock slit her 5-year-old son’s throat to rid him of demons. Police arrested Spurlock Saturday after finding her son on the floor of their home, covered in blood.
Investigators say Spurlock stomped on her son’s chest first. When that didn't get rid of the "demons," she cut his throat with a large kitchen knife, according to police.
Five-year-old Michael Spurlock remains in critical condition.
Spurlock’s relatives say she changed dramatically over the last few years and seemed obsessed by religion.
"I just didn’t see her as a normal person any more. Something had influenced her," said Lee Gresham, her brother.
Gresham and others think that Spurlock’s church, Magnolia Apostolic Tabernacle, may have played a role in Spurlock’s obsession.
"She always had a faith in God and believed in that," Lee Gresham said. "She just got in kind of way deep at this place she’s in now. She got beyond what I’ve ever seen."
"My mom said the church told her she had the power to cast demons out of people," said Channterra Gresham, Spurlock’s daughter.
The pastor of the Pentecostal church, Steve Wehrle, said his congregation is still healing, and he’s not ready to make a statement yet.
Spurlock remains jailed on a charge of attempted capital murder.
CPS has taken official custody of her son Michael.
