Florida Mega-Church Pastor David Loveless is Not Loveless After All, as Details of Extra-Marital Affair Surface

This story is not about any crime…wait, I am wrong about that, I suppose it may be a crime against God? Anyway, I think it is important to provide any available evidence that tends to demonstrate that men of the cloth, are seldom worthy of such titles.

The latest good Christian to face one of God’s tests is Florida Pastor David Loveless, lead honcho at the Discovery Church. Loveless, aside from having a funny name, has been considered one of the “top 20 Christian leaders in the US to watch.” Well guess what? We’re all watching now, douchebag!

After 33 years of marriage and a little “romp in the holy hay” with another woman, Loveless has resigned from the Discovery Church in Orlando after admitting to having an affair..

Loveless is the third pastor of a major Orlando-area church to resign within the past six-months because of an affair.

The resignation was announced to the congregation of the Orlando megachurch on Saturday and Sunday.

A statement by Discovery Church elders said Loveless, who founded the 4,000-member church in south Orlando 17 years ago, was being replaced on an interim basis by Director of Ministry Don Cousins.

"While David indicates that the relationship [with another woman] was ended approximately three years ago, we were only made aware of it when he informed us in recent days," the statement said. "David offered his resignation and the elders prayerfully and unanimously accepted it."

Loveless, 58, and his wife, Caron, have been married 33 years. They have three sons and three grandchildren.
