University of Georgia Professor Max Reinhart Arrested for Moonlighting As Cross-Dressing Prostitute
Atlanta, Georgia
I suppose being a tenured professor at a university, along with vast knowledge of German and Slavic culture could become rather long in the tooth. So, what to do, what to do?
Well, according to police, University of Georgia professor Max Reinhart escapes the mundane by providing after-hours prostitution services at a motel in the suburbs.
Police ran across an ad in the online message boards Backpage.com's "Adult Services" section, which includes "bodyrubs" and "escort services." Investigators, posing as an interested hobbyist responded to the ad, listed in the "Transexual Escorts" section, and arranged a meeting with someone named “Sasha.”
The meeting was arranged for the Days Inn in a suburb of Atlanta. As it turns out, Sasha was actually 65-year-old Max Reinhart, sporting make-up, a wig and ladies clothing. Once the monetary agreement was settled, $60 for sex, police revealed their true identities and Reinhart was arrested.
Reinhart has been charged with prostitution. Like Craigslist, Backpage.com has faced scrutiny over accusations that it is used to traffic underage girls for prostitution. Well, in this case, I guess it’s way over-the-hill peddling.
