What is it with Arizona? We have already reported on a couple who turned to Craigslist hoping to find a little doggie-style love. And now, another douche has been busted for catering to carnality with a four-legged friend.
The douche in question is 47-year-old James Naylor of Mesa. Police arrested Naylor after he used Craigslist to try and “nail” a dog. Yes, you read right, Naylor was shopping for a dog to have sex with.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, an investigation was launched after Naylor placed ads on Craigslist seeking dogs to sexually abuse.
Naylor thought he made contact with a willing seller. Of course, as most sane human beings would suspect, the “seller” was actually an undercover officer who was part of a task force targeting those using the Internet to find doggie love online.
Naylor and the detective emailed back and forth for two months until an agreement was reached and Naylor made an appointment to meet with what he believed was the dog's owner.
Investigators say Naylor showed up at the planned meeting spot eager to end his dry spell with a night of canine romance. However, before he could get his paws on his new furry friend, he noticed a pair of hand-cuffs being placed on his paws instead.
The dog, who's pictures were used to bring a rise to Naylor, is actually a rescue dog with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Animal Safe Haven. Naylor is married with one child, and is unemployed. He told police that he has been in a sexless marriage for about a year.
Naylor was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on a felony charge of bestiality.
