I was beginning to think that all the necrophiliacs had packed-up and moved on. That was, until police in Georgia confirmed that necrophilia is still (pardon the pun) alive and kicking.
Cops in Carroll County have charged 64-year-old Wade Davis with necrophilia, after they say he got down and dirty and had sex with a dead woman’s corpse.
According to authorities, the woman died at Davis' home on September 18. However, Davis did not alert authorities until four hours later. After all, it takes time to get a corpse in the mood, right? Police say that Wade Davis made the most of the delay by having a little creepy corpse sex before calling 911.
Davis was booked in the Carroll County Detention Center, and later released on bond. However, all area corpses have been put on alert.
Davis is apparently renting the home on Enterprise Drive where the alleged corpse sex took place. For some bizarre reason, he has not been willing to comment on his arrest.
Authorities said that they don't know how the woman died. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an autopsy and toxicology tests.
Police said that Davis could face more charges once the circumstances behind the woman's death are determined.
