Today, we are pleased to present Brooke Dinkel, a 31-year-old school counselor at Smokey Valley Middle School, who was busted Friday after she allegedly had sex with a 13-year-old student.
The Saline County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation on Wednesday after school administrators called Linsdborg police regarding an alleged sexual relationship between Dinkel and an underage student.
Once it was discovered that the victim resided in Saline County, the case was handed over to the Sheriff's office.
Very few facts have been released at the moment. However, investigators say Dinkel began a sexual relationship with the student in October 2012. The alleged sexual relationship continued until March of this year.
Dinkel was booked into jail and charged with five counts of rape involving a minor under the age of 14, and five counts of criminal sodomy.
