Lindsay Blankmeyer (left) says roomie Laura Sidla (right) had an insatiable appetite. |
A woman in Long Island says she was traumatized by her college roomie’s wild sexual escapades. Now to me, it just sounds like one of the attributes of college life. However, I suppose there are a few that might still believe a Roman Catholic liberal-arts school might remain free of sexual acts.
Lindsay Blankmeyer, 22, says Laura Sidler tormented her by holding lovemaking sessions right in front of her, literally turning a dorm room at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts into a sex playground. Blankmeyer is suing the college, after she says the school made no attempt to intervene. In fact, Blankmeyer insists she was almost driven to suicide.
According to court documents, Laura Sidler would have sex with her boyfriend while Lindsay was trying to sleep just a few feet away. “[She] would also engage in sexually inappropriate video chatting when Lindsay was in the room.”
Blankmeyer says she complained to officials at Stonehill College, a Roman Catholic liberal-arts school in Easton, Mass., but they refused to let her change rooms.
The two were living in a “toxic environment” that was “emotionally taxing” to Blankmeyer, who had a pre-existing “depression” and was nearly driven to suicide by the activity, the suit claims.
The suit seeks $150,000.
A spokesman says the college in Easton is reviewing the case and there are two sides to the story.
Lindsay... Take it from Sinister, it could have been worse - a Baptist college...
