Holly Lopez is a 32-year-old special education teacher at Lexington Middle School in the Austin area. If what police are saying is true, Lopez has a unique brand of special education involving sex with two teenage students. Police arrested Lopez, following the discovery of sexual encounters with a 13-year-old student and his 14-year-old friend.
According to police, one of the boys came forward stating that he was beginning to feel weird about a sexual encounter that involved his teacher.
Investigators say the student had been going to see Lopez on a regular basis for help with math.
On February 11, the student and one of his friends were at his father's house when Lopez began texting back and forth with both boys. After texting for a short time, the teacher told the boys that she was headed over to the student's house.
According to authorities, she didn’t arrive with math books. Instead, Lopez had several condoms. The teacher and both boys then went into a bedroom and engaged in sex.
During a police interview, the victim was able to identify several intimate tattoos on Lopez' body.
Lopez was booked into jail and charged with improper relationship between educator and student and aggravated sexual assault. Her bond has been set at 100,000.
