Joshua Bolling |
Ok, time for Sinister to get back to work, following the Easter holiday. How was yours?
It appears things weren’t so good for an Easter bunny in Virginia.
A man who was working as the Easter Bunny at Danville’s Piedmont Mall was arrested on Good Friday after police said he was caught with pills without a valid prescription.
The Danville Police Department reports 24-year-old Joshua Lee Bolling was charged with illegally possessing prescription narcotics.
Businesses in the mall called police concerned over the behavior of the Easter Bunny. Mall management called the behavior “suggestive of possible criminal drug activity."
Police said that Bolling was a contract worker for an outside company providing the Easter activities and was not employed by Piedmont Mall.
In an effort to avoid scarring the children, by handcuffing the Easter Bunny in public, police escorted Bolling to a private changing area where he removed his costume and was arrested, officers said.
