It started out as a rather slow evening, in terms of news, so I decided to go have some dinner. Keeping dinner down, after finding the following story, has been my latest struggle.
Police originally arrested James Lee Hagerman, 50, on child pornography charges. Cops say Hagerman had been sharing kiddy porn by way of a p2p network. On April 24th, an investigator downloaded three files from his computer and subsequently subpoenaed the server which led them to his house.
During an interview, Hagerman told investigators that he had been trading child pornography for more than a decade. He said he had an extensive collection, including around 1,000 videos on his computer. Those videos, according to Hagerman, were kept in hidden files in an attempt to hide them from his wife of 10 years. Hagerman reportedly used the online alias “jimlee” to trade the materials with others.
As if that wasn’t enough to make investigators want to go all “Samuel L. Jackson on his ass,” Hagerman had even more to tell police. In addition to the child porn, he admitted that he had molested a 9-year-old girl.
Over on his Facebook page (aside from having flashbacks to the dueling banjos scene from Deliverance), I couldn’t help notice that Hagerman boasts about being a True Christian and A follower of JESUS CHRIST GOD in the flesh. On Valentine’s Day, one of his last posts, he wrote, “I couldn't give my love a rose, or candy, or money. But i can Love my wife till death do us part.” He also exchanges “I Love You” with his wife on more than a few occasions.
Actually, my dry heaves were caused by The Dead Kids of Myspace blog. You see, that is where I learned about Hagerman’s other online alias “liljimmy45” and his various profiles on the Internet. That led me to one, where Hagerman not only posted the picture from above (minus the editing on the crusty ol’ erection complete with droopy oval objects resembling prunes), but also wrote:
"my name is james, i am easy going allways horny need lots of sex. looking for some one as horny as me. if you need some (censored..but, other word for rooster) look me up,i love to eat (censored..but, another term for cat) and lots of (censored, but, typical word for sex).don't get any at home.i need to upgrade so i can read your e-mails"
Police are continuing to comb through details,but I think it's safe to say this guy's toast.
