As I mentioned in a previous story, Texas is the current weekly hot-bed for alleged sexual predators. Take, for instance, Ryan Jon Loofboro.
The 34-year-old softball coach and real estate agent has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl and indecency with a child.
Friendswood police say they initially began their investigation last month.
Detectives are saying that during the 2012 softball season, Loofboro had sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.
Police took Loofboro into custody on Thursday and his bond was set at $40,000.
While the investigation continues, investigators are urging parents of children in the Friendswood softball league they should make sure the child has not had any inappropriate contact with Loofboro.
