The beauty pictured above and again to your right is not a participant in the Topol smoker’s whitening toothpaste research study. She is, in fact, 30-year-old Lenora Pruitt. And, according to police, she's not just another Texan with bad teeth, but also a cold-blooded murderer.
Pruitt was arrested on Monday after she allegedly beat her boyfriend to death with a socket wrench, then refused to get him medical treatment as he died a slow death.
The Dalhart Police Department says that following an argument between Pruitt and her live-in boyfriend, 30-year-old Cody Freeman, Pruitt beat him in the head with a wrench in front of their two children.
Pruitt reportedly failed to seek medical treatment for Freeman and reported him dead five days later. Officers believe the victim had suffered a brain injury from the assault, but could still move and talk up until the time of his death.
The couple's two children, ages 4 and 7, are now staying with relatives in Clovis, New Mexico.
Pruitt was booked into the Dallam-Hartley County Jail and charged with murder. Her bond was set at $100,000.
