New Port Richey, Florida
Like most of us, Kimberly Jean Womack woke-up hungry on Sunday morning and began by narrowing down her food of choice.
Unfortunately, for the workers at McDonald’s in New Port Richey, Womack had her heart set on their particular establishment. At precisely 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, Womack arrived at the drive-thru ready to get her happy meal on.
First-up, she wanted two Big Macs. And, forget all about that Dollar Menu crap – because Womack demanded that they be served-up for free. When an employee told her Big Macs weren't an option because it was breakfast time, she switched her order to Egg McMuffins — still for free.
By now, the drive-thru line was getting longer and both fellow patrons and restaurant workers were becoming impatient. However, things got worse when Womack refused to follow the advice of the employees and leave. So, the drive-through workers contacted police.
When deputies arrived, Womack tested at 0.108 percent blood-alcohol level and told deputies she had taken Klonopin, an antianxiety medication used to treat seizure disorders.
Womack was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. She was booked into the Land O'Lakes jail and released later that day on her own recognizance.
