Well, it seems the big ol’ Texas trend of teachers having sex with students is far from declining, with yet another high school teacher accused of getting down and dirty.
This time around, the dirty one is 29-year-old Kahtanna Culp, a teacher at Northbrook High School.
According to authorities, the investigation began after Culp reported being blackmailed by the student. The student offered to keep quiet about the sexual relationship if the teacher paid up.
The rumbles began back in December, but it was only this week that Culp was officially charged with having an improper relationship with the student.
The now 19-year-old said the relationship lasted between March 2012 until November 2012 of his senior year.
He also said Culp used to have kids as young as 14 come over to her home where she'd supply them with marijuana and alcohol.
Investigators say that Culp took the teenager on trips and he showed police cell phone photos to prove it. The photos included the pair "in compromising positions, including naked pictures of Culp."
Police also investigated Facebook and Twitter messages and phone calls between Culp and the student, which corroborated his story.
