Texas Teen Hailey Cokins Reported Missing, Reported Safe, Reported Missing, Safe Again?

Hailey Cokins (Facebook)

Houston, Texas

A girl was reported missing a few days ago in New Orleans, after she slipped away from a group of friends on Saturday. The website Allvoices even posted a story, What Happened to Hailey Kristine Cokins? The site also discovered a strange prayer page titled "God Save Hailey" that was created for Cokins in late June.

Fortunately, as far as reports go today, she has been found safe. However, this story becomes more interesting, even bizarre, whenever you dig a little deeper.

Last year, Hailey Cokins was just a girl in Galveston, Texas who had a couple of drug-related arrests, the latest, for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Interestingly enough, Cokins has been married for two months, but has filed for divorce. And here’s the bizarre twist. The husband for the past couple of months has been Michael Brent Sewell, or as he now calls himself, Michael Cokins (he took her name).

Does the name Michael Sewell sound familiar? Sewell was the guy in Houston, Texas, that was arrested for posting a sex video he made with an ex-girlfriend on YouTube. The cops said it was in retaliation for the woman breaking-up with him. Sewell was charged with Felony Improper Photography.

Michael Brent Sewell Arrested for posting sex video of ex-girlfriend on YouTube
Sewell reportedly lives in Conroe, Texas. However, he and his young bride have been reported in the areas of Houston and Galveston.

Sewell, on his Twitter page, discusses marrying the young girl back in March. In a post from July 8, Sewell..I mean Cokins, fuck I'm confused, claims the two are divorcing amicably.

On Monday, Hailey Cokins Facebook page featured a post attempting to assure everyone that she was safe. Police weren't so sure.

As for Hailey Cokins today, the teen is reportedly safe at home, according to NOPD spokeswoman Hilal Williams.

As for the marriage of Hailey Cokins, there is an interesting post on a site for scorned lovers called Bad Boy Report. The following post may shed some light on Sewell and Cokins, as well as their marriage.

Sewell was also charged with attempting to strangle Hailey Cokins back in May. A restraining order was issued. It's even been speculated that Sewell is really the one behind the God Save Hailey Cokins page.

Here's my take. There is a trend with Sewell. He threatened to post a sex video in order to keep his ex from breaking up with him. She did it anyway, he posted the video and found his ass in jail. He almost had many, including this site convinced that he was just a guy who got involved with a crazy ex. I mean, we've all been there, right guys? I even considered removing the original stories. Had he stopped there, we may have all been convinced and moved on.

However, a new girl, new drama and what appears as another case of Michael Sewell trying to stir-up shit around a female. Troubled as Hailey Cokins seems, I have got to believe she is simply the latest victim of this guy.

Cops: Has Anyone Seen Missing Arizona Teen Adrienne Salinas?

Adrienne Salinas (Facebook)

Tempe, Arizona

A little more than a week ago, 19-year-old Adrienne Salinas disappeared from her home in Tempe, leaving her friends and family to consider the worst.

The last sighting of Salinas occurred nine days ago, following a party she and her roommates hosted at their apartment. Since then, her roommates have been posting up fliers trying to get the word out.

The party took place on the night of June 14, when Adrienne and her roommates had around 40 people over at their apartment.

"Her and her boyfriend got into a little argument, and she was going to go to his house," roommate Shainey Duggan said.

But, before she made it too far, police said Salinas blew out the two front tires to her car just a couple of blocks away from her apartment. Cell records show she called a cab to pick her up at a nearby gas station, but she never made it there.

Sgt. Michael Pooley with Tempe Police said they've identified most of the partygoers that night but don't have much to go on.

Pooley said her phone was on around 5 the next morning. They're hoping someone knows what happened to Salinas and will speak up. There is a $6,000 reward for any information on Salinas' disappearance.

"That's a good time of day people are out, jogging, walking their dogs, riding their bikes. We're hoping someone saw something," Pooley said.

Kyle Dube Indicted for Murder After Luring 15-Year-Old Maine Teen Nicole Cable Using Facebook

15-year-old Nicole Cable

Bangor, Maine

I have always said, Maine is really Deliverence, only with beaches rather than a river. Especially Orono, talk about some goofy fuckers.

Earlier this month, a 15-year-old girl named Nicole Cable went missing in Maine. The girl’s mother contacted police, indicating she had left the night before to meet a friend at the end of the driveway but hadn't returned.

Police launched an investigation and, along with the help of volunteers, began a search for Nicole. During the investigation, police learned Cable had been communicating with someone by the name of Bryan Butterfield through Facebook.

In a strange twist, that particular Bryan Butterfield was actually a fake profile. The real Bryan Butterfield stepped-up and told investigators that another man named Kyle Dube had created the account. According to Butterfield, Dube wanted to have sex with Nicole Cable and did not appreciate his advances being turned down by the girl. So, Dube planned on luring Cable away from her house, kidnap her, hide her and then find her – in an attempt to look like a hero.

The eventual discovery of Cable’s body in a wooded area on May 20, however, proved the original plan didn’t turn out as expected. When police finally interviewed Kyle Dube, he admitted to luring her away from her home, putting on a ski mask and waiting. When Nichole came along, the 20-year-old Dube jumped out and snatched her, duct-taped her and put her in the back of his father's pickup truck. Dube later discovered that she was dead, so he dumped her body and covered it with branches, according to court documents.

The cause of Nicole Cable’s death is still being determined by the medical examiner's office.
