What is it with them darned-tootin' Texans and their improper photography? Is this how they fill their time between huntin' season?
If you happen to be down in Texas, getting ready to shop at Target in East Austin, it might be a good idea to wear slacks. That’s because Damien Terrion Williams, 27, has been lurking with a cell phone. It seems Mr. Williams has a particular fondness with taking upskirt photos of unsuspecting women.
Fortunately, store security was not unsuspecting and called police. After reviewing surveillance video, Damien Williams was taken into custody.
According to the arrest affidavit, Williams is charged with improper photography or visual recording, a state jail felony.
Police say Williams was in the mood to practice his photography skills when he went into the Target located at 5621 North I-35, near the Cameron Road and 51st Street intersection. A store security guard noticed him acting suspicious on surveillance cameras.
Investigators say the video showed him in the woman’s undergarment aisle walking up to a woman facing away from him, kneeling down and extending his arm underneath the woman’s dress with his cell phone in his hand.Williams did the same thing to a second victim a short time later in another part of the store, according to court documents.
Williams remains behind bars.
