You know it’s not going to be a good day when cops arrive at your door to serve a search warrant for child porn. It gets even worse, if you are in bed with an underage boy when the knocks begin.
That’s just what happened to 28-year-old firefighter and EMT Chaise Green. Deputies with the Precinct 4 Constable's High Tech Crime Unit served search warrants Wednesday at two homes in Spring - one on Glenbranch Drive and another off Spring Stuebner, where Green lived with his fiance, her mother and his fiance's two boys, ages 8 and 4, said Sgt. Gary Spurger.
When officers arrived at the home, "We pulled him (Green) out of the bedroom and the 8-year-old boy was in his (Green's) bed," Spurger said. "The boy was wearing shorts, and Green was wearing shorts and a T-shirt. It just struck us as unusual that he would be in bed with the suspect."
Green has worked on just about every corner it seems, including the Arcadian Ambulance company in Lafayette, Louisiana until he was fired earlier this week. He was also an EMT in the Houston area, according to authorities, as well as a volunteer firefighter in South Montgomery County before he was fired about three months ago
Green's online child-pornography activity had been traced by investigators, and so they went to his Humble-area home to serve a number of warrants.
According to investigators, Green had multiple images of kiddie porn – young boys engaged in graphic sex acts with adult men – on his laptop computer and a flash drive.
When cops questioned Green, he admitted "to using those computers and storage devices to search for, download and view the images and videos of child pornography," according to a criminal complaint filed in the case.
So far Green faces charges only on the child-porn allegations, but the case is not closed.
Bail has been set for Green at $20,000 for each of six child-porn counts.
