Fast Florida Woman Heather Harley-Davidson Brought to a Halt by Police for Drunk Driving

Looks like the cops knew something was different about the fast woman they were pulling over for swerving all over the roadway. Little did they know, however, that they were messing with a Harley.

Heather Dawn Harley-Davidson, 49, was the woman doing all of the fancy driving. Despite the driving, police say that while exiting the vehicle, Harley-Davidson appeared to have a hard time standing. Deputies also noted that her speech was "extremely slurred" and she couldn't get her license out of her purse.

Though she tried and tried to find her license, Davidson allegedly became upset and tossed her whole bag at the deputy through the window.

The woman also refused to take part in any field sobriety tests.

Deputies say that Harley-Davidson was so drunk, that she had to be medically cleared at a hospital. While there, she reportedly yelled profanities to the hospital staff.

Two deputies were needed to escort her to a restroom at the hospital because she could barely walk and almost fell on several attempts to reach a restroom, according to the arrest report.

Louisiana Man Edward Duke Pulled Over Second Time for Drunk Driving on Lawnmower

Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Hey, there is nothing wrong with having a cold one after a day of lawn care. Unfortunately, 60-year-old Edward Duke couldn’t resist leaving the lawn chair and getting back on the mower.

It might not have been a problem if police hadn’t nearly crashed into him, which captured their attention.

Police said they discovered Edward Duke shortly after midnight, driving down a road in Houma, on a riding lawnmower without the headlights on. That is a damned giveaway every time.

After a poor performance on field sobriety tests, Duke was arrested on charges of DWI and operating an unsafe vehicle. Of course, I thought a lawnmower was considered a luxury automobile in Louisiana.

Following his arrest, officers found an outstanding warrant for Duke from a DWI charge six years ago in New Mexico.

He remains in the Terrebonne Parish Jail.

Florida Boozer Natalie Delgado Forgot to Bring Her Pants to the Party

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, they took a wild guess that something just wasn’t right about a car traveling in the wrong direction on the wrong side of the road.

A trooper decided to get to the bottom of it all, early Wednesday morning, pulling the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Inside, they found the “bottom of it all” all right, after discovering 20-year-old Natalie Delgado behind the wheel. She wasn’t wearing any pants.

Delgado told the trooper she was heading home from work, where she was employed as a bartender and initially denied having anything to drink. She later admitted drinking one shot of tequila.

It was the 20-year-old Pompano Beach woman's second DUI arrest since February, according to the report.

As it turns out, the Pompano Beach woman has been busted for DUI before, making it the second arrest since February.

Miffed at the underage drinker's driving record and alleged reckless behavior, Broward County Judge John "Jay" Hurley on Wednesday set Delgado's bond at $25,000.

"You've been arrested for DUI twice now … clearly you didn't learn from that, and now you're out drinking tequila and driving again and not wearing pants," Hurley said. "The court's very concerned, ma'am. You're out of control."

Cops Say No 'Mom of the Year Award' for Florida Drunk Driving Doper Kimberly Martin

It’s been awhile since we had a “shitty mom” story, but thanks to Kimberly Noelle Martin, our wait is over.

Police say they arrested the 26-year-old woman from Summerfield a little after 4 a.m. Thursday. It was a call from a convenience store, reporting a drunk driver that led police to the scene.

A witness told deputies that Martin "came speeding into the parking lot and slammed on the brakes in front of the gas pumps." The witness also told deputies Martin smelled of booze and three small children were in the back seat of the car, according to a release from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The witness managed to get the car keys away from Martin.

When officers arrived, Martin failed sobriety field tests. During a subsequent search, deputies said they found oxycodone tablets. Later, Martin allegedly blew a .21 on the breathalyzer, the release stated.

As for the kids in the back of the car, their ages are 9 years old, 6 years old and six-months- old.

In a jail interview, Martin later told the Ocala Star-Banner she and her mother-in-law were arguing on their way to bail her hubby out of jail and it was her mother-in-law who drove into the gas station parking lot, exited the vehicle and then walked away and disappeared.

Her version of events might be more reliable if this wasn’t her 4th booking at the Marion County Jail.

Update: Texas Mom Ashli Heil Sentenced to 20 Years in DWI Crash That Killed 8-Month-Old Daughter

Ashli Heil made our headlines last April, after crashing her vehicle while drunk, and killing her 8-month-old daughter.She'll now be spending the next 20 years in prison.

Heil, 28, was the first woman charged with first-degree felony murder in southeast Texas, prosecutors with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office said.

Heil was driving drunk and speeding with her daughter in the backseat when, on April 2, 2012, she crossed into oncoming traffic on FM 1484 and smashed into a tree.

The baby, Whilow Heil, was found dead in her car seat at the scene.

Ashli Heil had to be extricated from the vehicle and was airlifted to the hospital.

Prosecutor Warren Diepraam explained that felony murder is known as Texas’ accidental murder statute, because it does not require the prosecution to prove that the defendant intended to cause death.

It only requires them to prove that the defendant committed a clearly dangerous act to human life in the process of committing another felony.

DWI with a child in the car is a state jail felony in Texas.

“DWI is the most frequently committed crime in Montgomery County, but is also the most preventable,” Diepraam said, adding that he hopes the charges send a message that the DA’s office takes crimes against children seriously.

For some, being both a bartender and a mommy can often prove to be a bad combination. That is exactly what you will find when you take a closer look at Kingwood resident Shauna Michelle Richardson. Looks like her chances at the mommy of the year award just went down the shitter.

Less than three weeks ago, the 35-year-old Richardson added a DWI to her list of life accomplishments after she reportedly passed out repeatedly while attempting to order and pay for a meal at a McDonald's drive-thru.

In this case, the charge was a felony, since Richardson had two prior convictions. Richardson, 35, was charged with a felony. She also had her four-year-old child with her, which would also be a felony. However, for some reason, a DWI with a child was not filed.

Richardson reportedly told police that she had taken prescription drugs and thought it was okay for her to drive on them because they had been legally prescribed. Hell, Budweiser is legal too, but try and use that excuse and see how far it goes.

At any rate, she was freed on a $10,000 bond. It should have stopped there, right?

Well, by Wednesday afternoon, there was yet another incident. And this time, she had not just one but both of her kids in the vehicle.

A witness called police at 3 p.m. to tell them that he was following an impaired driver and tailed Richardson until they arrived.

Richardson put on a full show for all to see as well, ramming a curb in full view of the cops. She was also driving on a flat tire and the car showed signs of hitting other curbs. Witnesses reported numerous near-collisions on busy Northpark Drive, which was crowded with parents ferrying home schoolchildren.

A cop on the scene believed Richardson was so messed up she needed to go to the hospital. While at Ben Taub Hospital, she not only received an evaluation, but also a complimentary blood draw. A family member picked up the four-year-old and two-year-old children.

Richardson was released from Ben Taub Hospital and is now being held without bail in the Harris County Jail.

Looks like Shauna Richardson has become a specialist at batch DWI’s. Back in 2006, she was convicted twice, less than four months apart, in Conroe and Bellville.

Kind of hot in a last-minute, 3 a.m., kind of a pinch? Yes. But, just don’t accept her offer to drive you to McDonald’s afterwards.

Texan Denise Wilson Mistakes Convenience Store for Drive-Thru

I’ve always wondered what life is like for a woman that looks like a man, is known around town as a lush and heading down a destructive path in a one-horse, backwards town.

Well, unfortunately I won’t be able to ask 36-year-old Denise Wilson. She’s now in a world of shit after crashing her vehicle into the Hi-Ho convenience store (which the name is newsworthy alone, don’t you think)?

Clerk Raj Kumar was taking advantage of a quiet moment to check his phone, but the moment didn’t last long.

"I was sitting down and not looking outside, just my phone, and I get up, look that way, turn around and then I got hit,” he explained.

The driver, 36-year-old Denise Wilson, told police she pushed the accelerator instead of the brake pedal as she was pulled into the store's parking lot.

After further investigation -- Police say Wilson was under the influence of alcohol, or as they say in Navasota, "drunker than Cooter Brown."

Surveillance footage shows Kumar checking his phone, and then getting up to stretch. Seconds later you can see Wilson's vehicle plowing through; Kumar was then thrown fifteen feet in the air.

Kumar was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital and says he couldn't wait to get back to work.

“I'm alive. I'm happy,” said Kumar.

Denise Wilson, on the other hand, was arrested for intoxication assault and taken to the Grimes County Jail. She was released after posting a $100,000 bond.

Texas Mom Ashli Heil Charged With Murder After Drunk Driving Wreck Kills Infant Daughter

Back in April, you may remember the story of a Texas woman, Ashli Heil, who crashed her vehicle and killed her infant daughter.

According to authorities, 28-year-old Ashli Heil was speeding just before losing control of her vehicle. Police and rescue crews arrived to find the vehicle wrapped around a tree. Heil wasn’t driving alone either, as investigators discovered her 8-month-old infant daughter in the wreckage. State troopers said the child was strapped in a safety seat in the back seat area of the SUV, but it wasn't enough to shield her from such an intense impact. The infant died as a result of the impact.

Heil was air-lifted to a nearby hospital for her injuries. Investigators say the hospital blood tests showed Ashli Heil’s blood-alcohol content (BAC) was three times the legal limit at .28, while the legal limit for driving in Texas is .08. Heil admitted to authorities that she had just purchased "Mad Dog 20/20" alcoholic beverages just before the crash.

Now that the investigation is complete, police have charged Ashli Heil with murder. Charging documents say the woman didn’t do enough to protect her daughter.

She was booked into jail around 5:30 p.m. Thursday and will need to come-up with $250,000 if she wants to be released.

In July 2004, Houston police arrested her for criminal mischief, leading to a guilty plea and a two-day jail sentence.

In August 2007, she was arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. Court records show she was caught with between 4 grams and 200 grams of meth, which was enough to warrant the drug dealing charge. She pleaded guilty and served four years of probation, which expired in August.

Iowa Man Jerald Reiter Caught Driving Drunk With Parrot and Zebra Riding ‘Shotgun’

I don’t know why, but I have always figured that being a cop in Dubuque would be rather dull. Think about it, Dubuque?

Well, I guess I have been proven wrong. Jerald Reiter, a 56-year-old Iowa man was arrested Sunday night after police caught him attempting to drive drunk with a zebra and a parrot riding shotgun in the seat next to him.

According to authorities, they noticed Reiter climbing into a truck parked at the Dog House Bar and attempted to operate the vehicle after they determined he was intoxicated.

The approaching officers found Reiter seated next to a zebra and a parrot.

Reiter told investigators that the animals were his pets and that the bar allows him to bring the animals inside when they are not serving food.

I suppose it was free entertainment for bar patrons, as some of them were taking photos of the animals. Of course, that was after one of them contacted police. Reiter disputed his arrest, telling officers that he was about to let a passenger drive his truck. However, it was unclear if it was going to be the parrot or the zebra.

Reiter was charged with driving under the influence. I am assuming the parrot and the zebra either found a new designated driver, or perhaps called a cab.

Texas News Anchor Jane McGarry: Looks, Brains and Lush, Cops Say

A longtime anchor for KXAS-TV Channel 5 is again, featured on the news. However, this time, it’s the newly created mugshot that’s in the limelight after an arrest for drunk driving.

Police pulled over Jane McGarry early Sunday morning, in her 2007 Porsche, after failing to signal a lane change on a North Dallas toll-way.

A state trooper thought that McGarry might have been hitting the sauce and suggested a breathalyzer test. After McGarry refused the officer’s offer, a mandatory blood sample was taken.Test results apparently confirmed the officer's suspicions of McGarry driving drunk, because she was immediately taken into custody.

The KXAS Web site says McGarry has worked for the station since 1982.

KXAS offered this brief statement: "NBC 5 station management is looking into the matter this evening and has no further comment."

You can already get the feeling that any story coming from a place called Cut And Shoot isn’t going to be very good. And this one certainly proves my theory.

As we all know by now, far too many people get behind the wheel drunk, which is exactly what 28-year-old Ashli Heil did earlier this week. In addition to the alcohol, add a sharp curve in the road and an 8-month-old infant and you know what comes next.

Accident investigators revealed on Tuesday that Heil’s blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit when her SUV crashed and killed her 8-month-old daughter. The infant was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ashli Heil was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, where she faced questioning from crash investigators throughout the day Tuesday.

Those investigators said the hospital blood tests showed a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .28, while the legal limit for driving in Texas is .08.

Investigators also said they were able to download data from the computer aboard Heil's SUV, and it showed the vehicle was speeding at 68 mph just before impact.

Bright yellow signs warn drivers about the sharp curves on that stretch of road, and accident investigators emphasized that road signs are posted with a 45 mph speed limit just before the curve where the crash happened.

She has not been charged with a crime at this point, but police say she could soon face charges of intoxication manslaughter for the death of 8-month-old Whilow Heil.

A search of Harris County records shows this isn’t Heil’s first run at legal problems.
